If your reading list is already a bit too big, you could also watch The Caine Mutiny, as it has been made into a popular movie in 1945.The Martian by Andy WeirâI guess you could call it a âfailureâ, but I prefer the term âlearning experienceâ.âThe Martian is another popular blockbuster, but you should definitely consider reading the book, which the movie is based on. The story of astronaut Mark Watney is a perfect illustration of the perseverance and creativity you need to implement as a leader. More broadly, it also highlights the organizational importance of looking after your team.In the book, the NASA crewmates go through fierce discussions as to how and why should the rescue operation happen. The book provides many insightful thoughts regarding personal growth as a leader, but also how team leadership can evolve and develop.Animal Farm by George OrwellâDo not imagine, comrades, that leadership is a pleasure. On the contrary, it is a deep and heavy responsibility. No one believes more firmly than Comrade Napoleon that all animals are equal. He would be only too happy to let you make your decisions for yourself. But sometimes you might make the wrong decisions, comrades, and then where should we be?âThe George Orwell classic is a fine ex ample of a fictional leadership book that every CEO should read. The book is a great comparison of different leadership styles; mainly Snowballâs empathic and visionary view and Napoleonâs more autocratic and charismatic style. Animal Farmâs leadership lessons have been widely analyzed, and the book provides an important balanced view about the hard decisions leaders have to make.

ERB Test Help
ERB Test Help January 25, 2013 For ERB Test help, we at Ivy Coach recommend Stephanie Sigal, M.A. CCC-SLP. In past blogs, we wrote about the four verbal subtests of the ERB test. Those included vocabulary, word reasoning, comprehension, and similarities. Well now discuss the four performance subtests of the ERB: picture concepts, matrix reasoning, block design, and coding. No, your kindergarten hopeful will not have to code software or anything do not fret or fear. That would be quite astonishing if they could do that for sure! Stephanie Sigal helps children prepare for the ERB test. In the picture concepts subtest, children are given a group of pictures and they have to figure out what goes together. They dont need to explain their rationale for why the pictures go together. In the matrix reasoning subtest, analogies are presented in a matrix. Children must point to an answer choice. In the block design subtest, timed puzzles are presented with bi-colored blocks. And in the coding subtest, children have to transcribe a code into matching shapes within a set time frame.
